- Calling my friend to ask for a diaper because the kids I was watching last night we dropped off with out their bag.
- Bra shopping.
- Small talk with people I don't want to talk to.
- Being recognized (by a person you haven't seen in over 15 years) as so and so's sister.
- Tweens
- While merging onto I-5 a lady trying to lite her cigarette would not let me merge. I sped up, so did she, I slowed down, so did she. When my lane ended and I was going to end up on the shoulder she flipped me off then sped off. I merged happily after I waved at her and blew her kissed.
Awesome
- I changed out a circuit breaker by myself.
- We went to Bellevue and Seattle yesterday for a 'Day of Fun.' We ate at a buffet restaurant in Factoria. After Anna ate fish, tacos, macaroni &cheese, salad, etc she proclaimed in a loud voice. I LOVE CHINESE!
- I went to JoAnn's and didn't buy anything.
Not much awesome or awkward this week.
i am stealing your awkward and awesome post idea that you stole from some one else. heh heh....
ReplyDeletei also love that you went to Joanns and didnt buy a thing.
It wasn't as awkward to ask for a diaper as it would have been to not get one at all!
ReplyDeleteAs awkward as bra shopping is - try it with your 2 teenage daughters and then run into the parents of some of their friends as all 3 of us are walking out of the dressing rooms holding handfuls of bras and talking features we like and don't like. I thought of you and your awkward posts as we stood there chatting with my girls trying to hide what they were holding.
ReplyDeleteI thought of your awkward post the other day too when I realized there was only one towel (mine) hanging in our bathroom which meant that Toby and I had been using the same towel for a good 3-4 days. It felt a little weird.
