Bad Idea: Leaving your family behind while you go on a trip that takes up your whole vacation time.

Good Idea: Having a Day O' Fun in Portland, Oregon.
Bad Idea: Hanging out in Portland under the Burnside Bridge.
SIDE NOTE: The first time my parents drove us near the Burnside Bridge Garen asked who those people were and Ryan told us they were culture. For years we thought hookers and hobos were culture. Oy.

Good Idea: Sixteen days spent with my sister in Utah!
BETTER Idea: A side trip to Four Corners and/or Las Vegas!
Bad Idea: Spending the whole time in Vernal.
